Review: A Dame Called Derek
A charming story!
This short story is delightful and entertaining, especially if you are a fan of British panto. A local troupe prepares for its annual performance, but the group’s success seems to be hampered by quirky personalities and conflicting views of what constitutes “funny.” Woven through the antics of the small band is the tale of a quiet newcomer who finds a new direction for his life by writing a fresh script for the panto. Quite a satisfying read. Well done!
