Blood of the Prime: Predawn
(Book I, Part I)
Genán’s Galaxy, known by some as the Milky Way, is a free will zone. The teeming body of stars, spun into physicality and infused by a single prime intelligence, moves through the constructs of time and space on its journey toward completion.
Within the Prime’s indulgent experiment to allow all, the actions of a few have moved the collective time and time again to the brink of collapse. The proud reptilian clans, once the arch mages and designers of life in countless systems, have succumbed to their addiction to violence, cycling through numerous iterations of the same crippling framework, spreading pain, anger, and despair throughout the network of populated worlds.
To counter the reptilian disease, one group of brilliant tacticians has banded together to take on the challenge of changing the nightmarish game. Slipping and sliding through the timeshells of Genán’s physical dimensions, the T’nari gamemasters insert themselves into pockets of infected realities to bring in fresh life and open up brand new seed kernels of experience.
These are the tales of the T’nari and their grand scheme to recover and revitalize the wayward fragments of Genán’s masterpiece of consciousness.
In this epic series, you’ll encounter:
The saga is told from multiple points of view, including the reptilian antagonists and the non-physical entities orchestrating the interplanetary drama. For a description of themes presented in the series, see this blog post entitled “T’nari Universe: Primary Elements” which collects snippets from the author’s subscriber newsletter.
“As the long hours of the night wore on, the strangest vision came to him, quite clearly and distinctly. He saw himself standing at the edge of a cliff above a boiling green sea. The turgid air in front of him was alive, writhing with purpose, licking at his skin and urging him to step out, away from the reality he knew. It would support him, carry him it seemed to say, and take him to find the faces he needed to remember, the places he needed to see … if he would only trust and let go.”

The T’nari prequels lay the foundation for the epic space opera series, T’nari Renegades–Pleiadian Cycle. Each book can be read as a stand-alone story, but when read as a collection, they build on each other and introduce key concepts and pivotal characters who come together in the upcoming Book I of the series, Blood of the Prime (due to be published later this year).
To experience the “full flavor” of the series, read the prequels in the following recommended order:
To Steal a Moon peers into the brutal world of the ruling reptilian classes in Draco as seen through the eyes of Bálok, Lord of the Eltanin system. We find out why a degenerate race on the brink of collapse shifts into outward expansion and conquest of the populated worlds of the galaxy.
Descent of the Maw opens in the Pleiades where the native human and bird races fight to hold out against the reptilian invaders slowly swallowing the star cluster. We also meet the Makhás tiger adepts (loosely based on Tibetan mystics) who are struggling to escape oppression on their homeworld in Sirius.
Flare Shifter takes place in Algol where we look inside the harsh reality of shapeshifters living under reptilian rule. The protagonist is an introverted goldsmith who holds the world at arm’s length in order to stay alive.
